Cassandra Erb has been working as a museum professional for over a fifteen years with experience that spans art handling and installation, museum education, exhibition design, project management, artist project development, consulting, and curation. She curated the 2011 exhibition Drop & Gimme 50: The Art of New Orleans Bounce and co curated the 2012 exhibition Interstice: New Economies for Creative Communities. As a curator of exhibits for the Louisiana State Museum, Erb most notably designed a narrative soundscape for the historic property The 1850 House and spearheaded an immersive theater piece, The Stranger Disease, staged at the historic property Madame John’s Legacy. She holds a B.A. in painting from Humboldt State University and an M.F.A. in Exhibition Design from California State University Fullerton, and is working on a PhD in Leadership and Change through Antioch University. She currently lives and works in New Orleans, LA.
